Reviews
I went to "Nikuya no Nikai" in the Nishi Ward, near Fukushige!
I provide a detailed introduction with photos, including recommendations for menu items, the atmosphere of the restaurant, and my actual dining experience. If you're interested, please be sure to check it out.
If you're wondering, "What's the recommended menu?", "Where is it?", or "I want to see photos!",
This is perfect for you!
The most popular dish, “Tsubotsuke Kalbi,” has the perfect seasoning!

As the name suggests, it’s kalbi (Korean BBQ ribs) served in a pot. The kalbi at “Nikuya no Nikai” is marinated in the pot with a perfect blend of seasonings.
The flavor is so good that one bite will definitely make you crave more. The tender and easy-to-eat meat enhances the luxurious taste.
This tsubotsuke kalbi has many fans who are so hooked on its flavor that they can’t stop ordering more.
In fact, it is highly rated at the restaurant and is loved by many as the number one menu item. Be sure to try this exquisite tsubotsuke kalbi!
The meat besides the tsubotsuke kalbi is also delicious! Recommended are the “Premium Harami” and “Tobiume Lean Meat.”

The Premium Harami, tongue, maruchou (intestines), and Tobiume lean meat at “Nikuya no Nikai” are all fantastic cuts of meat. These meats are incredibly tender and have a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Each serving includes six pieces of meat, and the generous portions are sure to satisfy.
From the rich fat and meat texture of the Premium Harami, the delicate taste of the tongue, the flavorful chewiness of the maruchou, to the deep umami of the lean meat, you’ll enjoy top-notch flavors no matter what you choose.
These meats are some of the restaurant’s specialties and are very highly praised. If you want to experience the perfect balance of tenderness and portion size, you should try the Premium Harami, tongue, maruchou, or lean meat.
About the restaurant

“Nikuya no Nikai” is named after the butcher shop that operates on the second floor, and as the name suggests, it offers high-quality meat at great value. With an all-you-can-drink option, you can enjoy a more affordable experience.
The meat portions are more than enough, and the menu that offers both yakiniku and yakitori is also attractive.
The interior is very clean, and the staff are friendly, making for a comfortable dining experience.
With warm service, it’s an ideal yakiniku spot to enjoy with family or friends.
For parking, it seems to be available at the golf shop across the street. If you’re driving, please be aware of this.
[Sad News] Slow Service and Poor Management – March 2025 Update
I was looking forward to the yakiniku, but this night left me feeling a bit disappointed.
First, it took 45 minutes for the meat to arrive. After about 20 minutes, I asked about the delay, but we had to wait another 25 minutes. I didn’t expect to be tested for patience before even grilling the meat.
The drinks also took a while, and we waited about 30 minutes. It felt like we were waiting longer than enjoying our drinks.
To make things worse, the first dish to arrive was yakitori, not yakiniku. It was delicious, but I was surprised because I expected the BBQ to come first.
Then, the chijimi (Korean pancakes) we ordered as part of the reservation service arrived almost when we were done eating (and was a bit cold). What’s more, they asked us “Is the chijimi here?” while serving it—such an awkward moment (it seemed like they hadn’t tracked it).
The restaurant was clearly busy and hectic, so I tried to be patient and wait. However, even the kimchi didn’t arrive at first… I overheard other tables asking about delays too, and the staff kept apologizing.
It was a tiring night waiting for the food, and it seemed like the restaurant had exceeded its capacity. The staff were busy and stressed, but still, I wished the experience could have been smoother.
