Reviews
I went to "L’arche" in the Hakataku Ward, near 呉服町!
I provide a detailed introduction with photos, including recommendations for menu items, the atmosphere of the restaurant, and my actual dining experience. If you're interested, please be sure to check it out.
If you're wondering, "What's the recommended menu?", "Where is it?", or "I want to see photos!",
This is perfect for you!
A Unique Experience! “Parfait Tatin (Caramelized Apple, Chocolate, and Vanilla Parfait)”

A visually stunning dessert!
At the top sits an apple-shaped decoration with a glossy glaze, making it look just like a real apple. The delicate sugar-crafted stem adds to the artistry of this parfait.
The apple-shaped top is served separately, allowing you to enjoy each element at its best.
When you cut into it, a layer of chocolate coating reveals smooth vanilla mousse and caramelized apples. The moment it touches your tongue, the rich caramel aroma spreads delightfully.
Crispy galette bretonne and streusel cacao add a delightful textural contrast, perfectly balancing the flavors.
Inside the glass, you’ll find rich chocolate and vanilla ice cream, tangy raspberry confiture, and refreshing lemongrass jelly—each ingredient carefully selected and layered for the perfect harmony.
It’s not overly sweet, making it easy to enjoy until the last bite. It pairs well with alcohol, making it a refined dessert for adults.
This special “Parfait Tatin” is available only in Fukuoka—a perfect combination of beauty and taste!
Charming & Elegant! “White Strawberry Parfait (White Strawberry, Fresh Cream, Lemongrass Parfait)”

A simple yet refined beauty.
Although white strawberries weren’t available that day, the alternative strawberries were still incredibly fresh, offering the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.
Soft whipped cream tops the parfait, resembling a delicate bouquet.
Inside the glass, tangy mixed berry sorbet and raspberry confiture add a vibrant contrast, while lemongrass jelly enhances the freshness.
The combination of sponge cake and fresh cream is soft and comforting, with vanilla ice cream adding a rich depth.
With its adorable appearance and exquisite balance of sweetness and freshness, this “White Strawberry Parfait” is truly delightful.
Too Cute to Eat! “Strawberry & Pistachio Mousse Tart (Served with Rose Tea and Raspberry Sphere)”

A fresh take on strawberry tart!
This “Strawberry & Pistachio Mousse Tart” is so beautifully presented, it looks like a work of art.
The moist pistachio mousse is rich in flavor and pairs perfectly with the tartness of strawberries. The delicate sugar-coated layer adds a satisfying crunch, making each bite a textural delight.
Every component of the tart is carefully crafted—pistachio mousse, raspberry jelly, fresh strawberries, almond cream, raspberry confiture, and tart crust—all working in harmony.
One of the most unique features is the “sphere.”
With just one bite, it bursts in your mouth, releasing the delicate aroma of rose tea—almost like a pairing drink encapsulated in a sphere. (I read about this concept on Threads.)
This limited-time dessert is available only while strawberries are in season, so don’t miss out!
Beyond Parfaits: Must-Try Baked Goods

While the parfaits are fantastic, the baked goods are just as incredible!
They even offer a complimentary baked treat before your parfait, and it was so delicious I had to buy more to take home!
Each bite has the perfect balance of crispness and moisture.
Here’s what I bought—highly recommended!
・Financier (Rich Brown Butter Flavor) – 340 yen
・Canelé (Chocolate & Orange) – 430 yen
・Tarte Citron – 430 yen
・Tarte Yuzu Chocolat – 430 yen
・Pistachio Madeleine – 380 yen
Fukuoka’s First? A Pâtissier’s Late-Night Parfait & Baked Goods Shop

This shop operates only on weekends inside “Lamp” and is open until 11:00 PM—perfect for a post-work dessert.
Opened on September 6, 2024 (Friday), the shop originally sold baked goods online before venturing into this new concept.
Known for crafting beautifully presented and flavorful baked treats, they have redefined the perception of baked goods as “plain” by creating visually stunning desserts.
Now, they’ve taken on a new challenge: parfaits. With a pâtissier’s skill, they’ve designed delicate, artistic parfaits that look like edible masterpieces.
A “late-night parfait” spot is rare in Fukuoka, making this a truly unique dessert experience.
You can take baked goods to go or enjoy them inside the shop. Whether you’re visiting alone or with family, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes it an easy place to stop by.
If you’re looking for one-of-a-kind parfaits and baked goods that are both beautiful and delicious, this is the place to be!
