Choice of Kaisendon (Hakata Kaisendon + Fried Spanish Mackerel) Set Meal

The most delicious dish this time was the fried Spanish mackerel as a side dish of choice. I had no idea that fried white fish could be so delicious.

The volume of the Hakata Kaisen-don (seafood rice bowl) was very generous and filling, and the sashimi was all fresh and delicious!

I had the umi no donburi!

Indeed, it was more generous than the Hakata Kaisen-don with a larger variety of sashimi!

However, I personally feel I could have been satisfied with the Hakata Kaisendon.

If you are looking for a full meal, I recommend the umi no don!

Two favorite side dishes: “Fried chicken thighs” and “Stir-fried meat and vegetables

I chose “Fried Chicken Thigh” and “Stir-fried Meat and Vegetables” from a selection of side dishes for 1,080 yen for two choices.

First, the fried chicken thigh was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with the flavor of the meat locked in. Since it is served freshly fried, it is served piping hot. The moderate amount of salt makes the rice go down a treat.

Next, the stir-fried meat and vegetables is a perfect balance of crunchy vegetables and well-seasoned meat. It is moderately seasoned and goes well with rice.

The combination of these two dishes is hearty and satisfying. It is especially recommended for those who cannot decide between the two, as you can enjoy both the juiciness of the fried chicken thigh and the well-balanced flavor of the stir-fried meat and vegetables. It is also reasonably priced, making it perfect for an everyday lunch or dinner.

Hamburgers and gratins.

Umi no Shokudo also offers meat as one of the side dishes to choose from.

The gratin was mayonnaise gratin, not cream sauce.

Personally, I still recommend seafood at Umi no Shokudo.

A delicious teishoku restaurant with many side dishes to choose from. If you go with two people, you can exchange side dishes, which is great. It is a great place to eat vegetables from Itoshima and fresh fish from Nagahama.

The food is delicious, but the most important point is that the process of eating is very smooth.

Seating→explanation of dishes→selection of dishes→waiter arrives→dishes come

The flow of the process is so smooth that it has become my favorite restaurant.

I went there around 11:30 a.m. and didn’t have to wait in line to get in, but by the time I left, there was a huge line of people.

Choosing side dishes is a lot of fun, and it also makes me want to eat this next time I come here!
