Reviews
I went to "Yakiniku Teiho" in the Chuoku Ward, near Daimyo・Tenjin・Akasaka!
I provide a detailed introduction with photos, including recommendations for menu items, the atmosphere of the restaurant, and my actual dining experience. If you're interested, please be sure to check it out.
If you're wondering, "What's the recommended menu?", "Where is it?", or "I want to see photos!",
This is perfect for you!
The Best Lean Cut with Amazing Tenderness – “Rump”

The best cut I had this time was definitely the rump!
Even before grilling, you could see how fine the meat fibers were. It had a beautiful red color with just a slight marbling, making it look incredibly appetizing.
It was unbelievably tender, and the more I chewed, the richer the lean meat’s umami became. Since it wasn’t greasy at all, I felt like I could eat endless slices!
It would probably make an amazing steak too, but as yakiniku, it was simply outstanding!
Irresistible Sweetness from Marbled Fat – “Loin”

The A5-grade loin had a perfect amount of marbling, and when grilled, the fat slowly melted, creating an irresistible sizzle.
The moment it hit my tongue, it literally melted! The fat had a natural sweetness, but it wasn’t overpowering—just the perfect balance.
Personally, I loved pairing it with a slightly sweet yakiniku sauce, which complemented the fatty richness perfectly. I also thought it might be great sukiyaki-style, dipped in a raw egg!
For Those Who Want a Rich, Juicy Bite – “Kalbi”

When it comes to yakiniku, you can’t forget kalbi!
The A5-grade kalbi had beautiful marbling, and with just one bite, the fat spread across my mouth in the most satisfying way.
It paired perfectly with sauce and was amazing with rice! That said, because of the rich fat content, it might feel a bit heavy if you eat too much.
But if you’re in the mood for a hearty meal, this cut is a no-brainer!
A Lean Yet Flavorful Cut – “Sagari”

Although sagari is technically considered offal, its texture and taste are closer to lean meat. It’s light, yet packed with flavor!
It had just the right amount of chew, and the more I bit into it, the richer the umami became.
I really enjoyed it with just salt and lemon—it made it even lighter and super easy to eat. It might also be a great way to wrap up a yakiniku meal!
A Great Lunch Selection Too

The restaurant also offers a fantastic lunch menu. The “Teiho Hamburger Steak Set” (limited to 15 servings) and the “Lemon Steak Set”, known for its refreshing taste, are especially popular.
Besides yakiniku, the restaurant serves a variety of beef dishes, which is another big plus.
I haven’t tried the hamburger steak yet, but I’ve heard it’s really good!
Enjoy A5-Grade Wagyu at This Restaurant

One of Teiho’s biggest highlights is that they purchase an entire A5-grade wagyu cow.
This allows them to serve not only standard cuts like kalbi and loin, but also rarer cuts like sagari and misuji. Since they are directly managed by a wholesale supplier, you can enjoy top-quality beef at a great value!
Every cut was incredibly tender.
The restaurant itself has a calm and inviting atmosphere. There are counter seats, making it perfect for solo yakiniku, as well as raised seating areas and tables, which are great for dining with friends or family.
The location is also convenient—just a 10-minute walk from Akasaka Station and about 15 minutes from Tenjin Station. Whether for a casual lunch or a relaxing dinner after work, it’s an easy spot to visit!
